Other Activities in the Brecon Beacons
In the Brecon Beacons there are a wide range of activity providers who can offer you the chance to go gorge walking or mountain boarding, a go at archery, or the chance to swing from a zip wire.
If you would like to go bowling, Brecon Leisure Centre has a six lane ten pin bowling alley that is equipped with a computerised scoring system. The centre also offers indoor green bowls. The Bowls Hall consists of four green bowls rinks and caters for winter league matches, block bookings and casual bookings for people of all ages and abilities. Woods and jack are available for hire.
The National Park is lucky to have two indoor swimming pools - the one at Brecon is a 25m x 10m pool with a learner pool along side it, Llandovery also has a public swimming pool adjacent to the town’s secondary school.
Squash courts are availabe for hire at Brecon Leisure Centre and most of the towns have public tennis courts.
